Oilers Extend Affiliation with Fort Wayne Stars

The Edmonton Oilers have extended their affiliation agreement with the Fort Wayne Stars of the ECHL for the 2023-24 season. The extension marks the third year of the partnership between the two teams. The Stars have served as the Oilers' primary ECHL affiliate since the 2021-22 season.

The Edmonton Oilers lost to the Fort Wayne Stars 3-2 in Game 1 of their ECHL series on Tuesday night. Jake Neighbours scored the game-winning goal for the Stars at 19:14 of the third period. The Oilers will now look to even the series in Game 2 on Wednesday night.
